Dr. Caitlin Atkinson
Dr. Caitlin Atkinson is a Vermont native, who grew up skiing and hiking with the popular Killington Ski Area as her backyard. She escaped the cold winters to attend the University of South Carolina, where she participated as as a scholarship athlete on the Division 1 All-Girl Cheerleading team. Caitlin’s love of chiropractic stems from her access to the Gamecock Sports Medicine team, whom she credits with keeping her healthy throughout her time on the sidelines and performing on the national stage. Her love of sports continued, as well as developing a love for learning about pregnancy, throughout her education at New York Chiropractic College. There, she attended school with her twin sister, who is also a practicing chiropractor back in her home state. Caitlin graduates with multiple certifications, such as Sport Science and Human Performance, RockTape, ART, Whole Food Nutrition, and Webster Certification through the ICPA. She was also very involved beyond the classroom, as a member of the Phi Chi Omega Honors Society, tutor, teaching assistant, peer mentor, and student government president. Caitlin remains active in her free time running, lifting, and her favorite exercise of all, hiking with her chocolate lab, Lainey Lou. She believes chiropractic care can provide a dynamic and comprehensive approach to movement and health that is unique to any other healthcare profession. Caitlin will be interning in our office in March and will start as a doctor in May when she receives her license and is credentialed! We are so psyched to have her and can't wait to have you meet her.
